After Dr. Mike Israetel's previous successful seminar in Israel, we received countless requests to bring him back for more seminars and now we are more than proud to announce that he is coming back, and this time with another RP coach, Dr. Gabrielle Fundaro.
About the lecturers
Dr. Mike Israetel:
A cofounder of Renaissance Periodization, Dr. Mike Israetel holds a PhD in Sport Physiology from East Tennessee State University. Formerly a professor of Exercise and Sport Science in the School of Public Health at Temple University in Philadelphia, Mike has taught several courses, including Nutrition for Public Health, Advanced Sports Nutrition and Exercise, and Nutrition and Behavior.
Originally from Moscow, Russia, he has worked as a consultant on sports nutrition to the U.S. Olympic Training Site in Johnson City, TN, and has been an invited speaker at numerous scientific and performance/health conferences worldwide, including nutritional seminars at the U.S. Olympic Training Center in Lake Placid, NY. Mike has coached numerous athletes and busy professionals in both diet and weight training, and is himself a competitive bodybuilder and professional Brazilian Jiu Jitsu grappler.
Dr. Gabrielle Fundaro:
CISSN, CHC, is a Renaissance Periodization coach, ISSN-certified sport nutritionist, and ACE-certified health coach. Dr. Fundaro combines her knowledge of nutrition and motivational interviewing techniques to promote intrinsic motivation and behavior change in clients to facilitate long-term weight management and healthy lifestyles. She has taught a variety of courses related to nutrition for performance and health, physiology, and macronutrient metabolism. In addition to her teaching experience, she has enjoyed the opportunity to share evidence-based recommendations in seminars, podcasts, and contributions to magazines such as Shape and Oxygen. Dr. Fundaro is a former Assistant Professor of Exercise Science at Georgia Gwinnett College, and holds a PhD in Human Nutrition, Foods, and Exercise from Virginia Tech as well as a BS in Exercise, Sport, and Health Education from Radford University. She is currently completing requirements towards the Registered Dietitian credential as a participant in the Individualized Supervised Practice Pathway of the Dietetic Internship Program of the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center. In her free time, she enjoys hiking, reading, spending time with her dogs, and training for powerlifting.
Mike and Gabrielle will be teaching for two days of training and nutrition (full details below).
Day 1: Thursday, 31.1.2019, from 11:00 to 16:00.
Day 2: Friday, February 2, 9:00 – 14:00.

Day 1 (31.1.2019), Dr. Israetel will lecture on a variety of important topics about program design for trainees at all levels:
– Exercise selection: theory, application and progression
– Intensity selection: theory, application and progression
– Volume selection: theory, application and progression
– Periodization: putting it all together, including fatigue management and phase potentiation
– How to start new clients
– Progression help with advanced clients (All for both strength, hypertrophy, and combo)
Day 2 (February 1, 2019) Mike and Gabrielle will discuss about various important and topics from the world of nutrition:
– Diet fundamentals
– Diet for muscle gain
– Diet for fat loss
– Diet for health
– Gut health
– Diet psychology
– Diet troubleshooting in the real world (clients, travel, missed meals, stalling progress, maintenance phase)
You can purchase a separate ticket for the first or second day, a combined ticket for both days or a VIP tickets that includes both days, a first row seat + dinner after the first day.
Price per 1 day ticket – 450 NIS.
Combined ticket price for two days – 800 NIS.
The price of a VIP ticket (limited to 12 subscribers only) gives you a place in the front row at the conference + a luxurious VIP dinner with the lecturers, including a main course, unlimited drinks and dessert. During the meal you can also talk about topics that did not come up during the conference, ask any question you want and hear stories and experiences from Mike and Gabi – 1200 NIS.
